The latest news from the House of Commons is that Members of Parliament have approved the new proposed expense measures by a narrow margin.
The revised process will restrict the amounts that MPs are able to claim and are designed to ensure a greater level of credibility with the public at large.
From now on, MPs will be able to only collect the sum of £200 on passing Go. Furthermore, they will be restricted to the sum of £100 should they win a Crossword competition, and will be entitled to collect an additional £10 per each MP if it is their birthday.
Some new costs will also be levied however, including one for School fees of £150. They will also be charged £15 should they be caught speeding or £20 if they are deemed "Drunk in Charge".
Overseeing the entire new system will be a gentleman called Rich Uncle Pennybags, however at a press conference after the vote, he requested that he be known simply as "Mr Monopoly".
