In a strategic career move, it has been revealed that US heiress and celebrity Paris Hilton is to record a CD with Britain's Got Talent megastar in the making, Susan Boyle.
Hilton told me:
"Making a CD with Susan will hopefully boost my profile. My internet hits have been almost non existent recently as everybody and his dog has seen the footage of me 'doing stuff' with guys. Susan's career is well in the ascendancy and she's become an international sensation in just a couple of days. Besides, standing alongside her should make me look pretty good in comparison."
It's not yet been announced when the duet CD will be recorded, nor do we have any indication of what the content may be, but a man walking a dog told me:
"I think they should rework the George Formby classic 'When I'm Cleaning Windows' That would be nice."
Susan Boyle was unavailable for comment, but a family member told me:
"Paris Hilton? You mean the one out of the mucky internet videos? The one with that silly wee dog? Och, I don't know our Susan will be up for that. But I think not."
