Britain's Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle could be heading for international success after featuring on top US TV shows and receiving an invitation to appear with Oprah Winfrey.
Susan appeared on Good Morning America and was interviewed by Diane Sawyer via satellite. She also featured on NBC Today where Kathie Lee Gifford broke down in tears watching the clip of her performing I Dreamed a Dream from West End show Les Miserables.
Her performance of the song on the first 2009 heat of Britain's Got Talent has become a huge Youtube hit, with over twelve million people having watched it. Husband and wife Hollywood film stars Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore posted messages on their Twitter blogs raving about Susan, with Demi saying she got "teary" watching the clip.
However, there was consternation among some TV viewers in the UK who complained that Susan was shown before the 9pm watershed, and that she had not had a union flag superimposed over her features to avoid causing distress.
