Bangkok, Thailand - Ex Manchester City FC owner Thaksin Shinawatra has been causing utter mayhem in his native Thailand by challenging the Thai government.
Shinawatra's supporters, known as red shirts (Whatever happened to Blue shirts? Blue Moon?) brought havoc to the streets of Bangkok.
Manchester United fan Donald Books formerly of Salford, told us:
"City innit? What do you expect? They cause trouble wherever they go. What really pisses me off is that Shinawatra's supporters are RED shirts. What's that all about?"
Manchester City fans are reportedly going out to Thailand en masse in order to give their full support to their former owner. Although some have been a bit confused and asked for tickets to Arab states at Manchester Airport.
"They haven't got a clue," Donald Books told us. "Hopeless they are."
More as we get it.
