Another TV Scandal

The shocking news that one of the members of the winning team in this year's university challenge was 'not a student but really an accountant' has put the program's future at risk.

Colin Hamster claimed to be studying chemistry at St Richkids College Oxford. However he is in fact a charterd accountant from Godalming and never went to the college. He is thought to be the cousin of the 'human google' Sophie Google, captain of the winning team.

The shows host, Jeremy Paxo, is said to be furious. He thought it strange that a chemistry student was able to answer so many questions about tax returns. Now he knows why.

Runner's up Northern Provincial University want a rematch, despite not actually scoring any points in the final. Their captain, Doug Ringpiece, spoke from the Hezbollah students' union bar "We lost, but they cheated. We want a rematch. We'd like another day out all expenses paid. We are students you know."

A meeting is being held to decide what action to take.

This is not the first such scandal of its kind to hit the show. Twenty years ago Fishcakes college Cambridge had a cab driver in their team. George Housegone became a media celeb following their success. Today he is back cab driving.

"Once they got what they wanted those kids dropped me," George lamented. "Still I'm not too bitter. Right that's £25.50 please."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
