Robert Mugabe today blamed Britain and the United States for the cholera epidemic sweeping through Southern Africa.
"It is an evil plot by Brown and Bush to force regime change on Zimbabwe" he said.
When asked why he thought those countries would like to see a change in Zimbabwe he said "Zimbabwe is a model of development and democracy to the world, and this undermines their corrupt and despotic regimes. Every Zimbabwean knows that this country, since I liberated it from those horrible old colonialists, has become the best country in the world. You can read it in every newspaper I publish in Zimbabwe"
"But we have new weapon to counteract this plot. We will pass a law by decree abolishing cholera from Zimbabwe and that will be the end of that" he said
