Door to door double glazing salesman Hugh Peeveesea was found dead in a Swansea street this morning, apparently from acute hypothermia.
At first, it was suspected that Mr Peeveesea was another statistic in the tragic Bridgend suicide cult that has swept, well, err, Bridgend in recent years.
Police later discounted this theory when a note found in the unfortunate mans pocket read "In the event of my death, I dont want any of my organs going to anyone under 25 from Bridgend as they will probably top themselves within weeks of the transplant".
A shocked neighbour commented, "He had been hounding me for about 20 minutes about how much I could save on heating costs with their new windows, now this. Its ironic isnt it?"
Attempts to interview other inhabitants of the street were met with a frosty reception.
