While house prices in general continue to plummet some good news emerged today from the Haunted Houses For Sale Company Ltd PLC Inc.
It seems that haunted houses are holding their own in a recession stricken economy, and that investors are flocking in.
'Haunted houses are a gilt edged investment,' Trevor Titwank, a company spokesman announced. 'You just can't go wrong with a property infested by spooks and headless horsemen and floating nuns and that.
'They make for real conversation starters and they're infinitely more interesting than water features and leather sofas.
'The only negative is that pubescent females can be vulnerable to demonic possession, which can be troublesome.
'However, we can arrange for a qualified exorcist to attend to any customer problems.'
Freddy Twatt, a city banker, endorsed the statement from the Haunted Houses For Sale Company Ltd PLC Inc, stating:
'Haunted houses are a solid investment in my opinion. But then what do I know, I'm just a banker.'
