A Pirate Pictured A Few Minutes Ago But Not One Of The Ones On The Mersey Ferry

Dramatic events today on the river Mersey as a passenger ferry was tracked down and boarded by pirates.

Reports tell of how a small craft, piloted by cutthroats and brigands cut off and managed to board the ferry in order to rob passengers.

Police looked on helplessly from the pierhead as the pirates terrorised the hapless passengers.
Just as all seemed lost and the buccanneers had victory within their grasp a figure was seen swinging into action.

The figure, reportedly a masked man wearing a cape proceeded to board the ferry and subsequently kick seven colours of crap out of the pirates before slinging them overboard into the murky waters.

The figure then disappeared without trace or fanfare.

One relieved passenger reported the that the mystery man referred to himself during the confrontation as Batchap.

To date no arrests have been made.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
