The devastation following recent flooding in England has left over 20 homes without cable or satellite television.
"It's like living in some kind of shanty town" said Mrs Wha Chu-Lookinat from Northumberland.
"I've had to rely on Freeview which just isn't as good" said her neighbour Mrs Lucy Goosey.
Flood minister Walter Evrywhere said "Emergency supplies of Sky One dvd box sets have been rushed into the area. People must remain patient."
Rioting also occured when internet access was down for over an hour and pasty faced people panicked whilst fighting over Wi-Fi hotspots in the centre of town.
Sergeant U.R.Nicked of the local constabulary said "It was a very heated moment for a while but we were able to restore order by using mobile phones as modems."
