Troubled singer Amy Winehouse was today at the centre of a new contraversy after being film snorting baby mice alongside fellow rocker Pete Docherty.
Amy and Pete who were filmed by an unknown third party, thought to be a cat, were filmed crushing and snorting the tiny day old white mice, which looked a bit like very cute wriggling maggots.
Winehouse was seen to wave a baby mouse in the air doing a passable Johnny Morris type voice with it, squeaking out a loving message to husband Blake. She then accidentally swallowed the unfortunate creature after throwing her head back to guffaw loudly as Docherty looked on.
Today, Pete Docherty claimed the mouse-sniffing incident was blown out of proportion by the media.
"Baby mice are not a Class A drug,"he stated,"so you can't f*cking do us for it."
"Anyway, who'd want to hurt anything with such an appealing little stupid whiskery face?" he added, speaking about Amy.
