Dewsbury Pentecostal Church

It has been revealed that Karen Matthews, the 32 year-old mother of schoolgirl Shannon went to Dewsbury Pentecostal Church last week. It was thought that she went to give thanks to God for her daughter being found safe and well in her Stepfather's Brother-in-Law's Uncle's Sisters home.

In fact, she really went to a faith healing crusade held at the church.

The Pastor, Mr Jeremiah Goodwine told In Seine News;

"So many miracles happen around Easter that we thought it to be the best time to hold a healing meeting. Jesus came back from the dead and has been healing folk ever since. We were thrilled to have Karen with us because everyone has problems even if they appear to be fit and well and it would be a fantastic opportunity for her to meet Jesus. Jesus is the answer for anyone who turns to him."

Karen attended the meeting at a packed-out Dewsbury Pentecostal Church and after listening intently to Mr Goodswine preach for a while, she decided to go forward and be prayed over. She then joined the long line and eventually Mr Goodswine asked her;

"What would like me to pray about?"

Karen said;

"Preacher, I need you to pray for my hearing."

So the kind Mr Goodswine put one finger in her ear and the other hand on top of her head and prayed for a while. After a few minutes, he removed his hands and said;

"How's your hearing now, Miss?"

Karen said;

"I don't know yet preacher, the court date is not until next Wednesday."
