The swing-wing Boeing 777 before today's incident

Heathrow Airport - (Aviation Mess): British Airways successfully tested the new swing-wing Boeing 777 jumbo jet at Heathrow Airport today in full view of UK Prime Monster Gorgon Brown who was sitting in his own Beijing-bound jetliner just yards away on the airport tarmac.

The incoming flight was clearly put through its paces while carrying a full payload of over 300 passengers.

As the ex-Beijing plane approached the airport witnesses said they saw a number of innovative features being tested.

These included the total collapse of the landing wheels, the bypassing of the airport runway in favor of a nearby narrow grass verge, the skimming of nearby terminal building roofs and a spectacular ground skid that took the craft some 1,000 yards from its optimum landing site.

Airport security video footage shows the BA plane to have deployed an innovative swing-wing manoeuvre which unfortunately saw the wing ripped off the main body of the aircraft.

"Overall we are satisfied with today's exercise," Heathrow sources said today.

"It also served to calm the PM's pre-flight nerves. He's always been a terrible passenger."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
