After several years of helping infertile couples give rise to a new generation of citizens, a Kenyan preacher lost a battle fighting extradition back to Kenya from London, citing religious persecution. Oh damn, what a shame.
Seems like someone actually found out that miracles don't happen, after all. Oops.
It seems Kenyan authorities have found enough evidence to charge Gilbert Deya for child stealing. Weird. I didn't know kids constituted evidence -- I thought they were the future of our civilization. Apparently Kenya doesn't agree.
Authorities say that the man used trickery to deceive couples into thinking that they were legitimately pregnant. Interesting. If that's the case, I wonder if I could fool my girlfriend into thinking she's pregnant as well. I've always wanted a malnourished, disease infested Kenyan child! --rolls eyes--
At any rate. He's also fighting extradition on the grounds that Kenyan prisons don't meet the criteria for extradition. Well, considering he's about to go there whether he likes it or not, I think that gives us a fair bit to say in the line of "Well, shoulda thought of that first, shouldn't you?" Too bad, so sad. What's for lunch?
