A new toy, manufactured in China, called Bindeez in Australia and Aqua Dots in North America has been recalled for chemically turning into, gamma-hydroxyl butyrate (GHB), a popular date rape drug when ingested by children.
The toy was voted, Toy of the Year, in an industry event in Australia. Toys Are Us, had Aqua Dots #15 in must have toys for this holiday season. Bindeez were well on their way to becoming the must have toy for Christmas stockings across North America except for that one little pesky detail.
The toy is creative in nature; kids arrange the beads into patterns and sprinkle them with water turning them into sculptures. Kinda spacey.
Not that this isn't enough but it seems enterprising teens are now hoarding the beads, distributing the little gel cap like pills throughout the educational system and neighborhoods.
Teenage stoners are usually up for experimental new things and it seems Bindeez are ready to order. The name is even catchy for a new party favor. Hey man, got any dots? Or,,, I gotta score some Bindeez for the Hives concert.
Hospitals and Emergency Rooms across the nation are bracing for the sure to come rash of overdoses and sickness to come from teens acting irresponsible looking for a new buzz.
Even more twisted, the Aqua Dots are distributed by a company called,
Spin Master Ltd.
