London: It's official - Gordon Ramsay will take over from Tony Blair as Prime Minister in June.
After months of speculation about the leadership contest, Ramsay has said he is 'genuinely fucking humbled' after receiving overwhelming support from Labour party MPs.
After spending years in Blair's shadow, Chancellor Gordon Brown is said to be deeply disappointed that another Gordon beat him to the top job through a barely credible ballot sheet mix-up.
'I'm inconsolable,' he grumbled outside Number 11, 'but rules is rules.'
Ramsay, the great-grandson of the UK's first Labour Prime Minister - Ramsay MacDonald - will be the first blond chef to lead the country.
He is said to be looking forward to swearing in.
