LONDON (ASP) - Today, Prime Minister Tony Blair adopted U.S. President George Bush's strategy to reduce self-image in the country. The AFP headline released was: "Morbidly obese: bigger Britons need fatter furnaces"

Prime Minister Blair is on a campaign to blame obese people on everything from global warming to the war in Iraq.

He, like Bush, believes that if they can lower people's self-confidence enough, they will no longer be able to hold their heads up high enough to notice the inadequacies and outright evil acts that he and President Bush display in office.

"After all," said Blair, "the larger furnaces DO require more gas to fire and DO contribute to global warming."

Next, Prime Minister Blair plans to attack skinny people, claimin that the general populace has to work twice as hard to produce the energy to keep them warm. President Bush will be watching closely to see if this plan of attack works. If so, Bush will adopt a similar strategy in the U.S.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
