Although it is nearly a year, bookworm and equal opportunities bod Gary Johnson is still recovering from reading the collective works of Nadine Dorries.
Gary told us 'I have always been one of those people who gives authors a good go, regardless of their politics, their personal beliefs, and if they can put a good sentence together then I will be a fan'.
Gary's wife takes up the story 'It started when he started reading The Four Streets, and then Coming Home to the Four Streets, but then there were another five to go. I could tell he was really suffering'.
'It was like one of those dystopian box sets you start watching, where bad things happen to charismatic people, and you hope that they get some closure or a bit of love or a connection at the end, but it never happens' says Gary. 'Once was more than enough for me'.
Gary's next reading will be the collected works of Stanley and Boris Johnson.
