Popular BBC quiz, The Weakest Link, is a device of an evil empire hell-bent on taking over the world. That's the claim being made today by a man from Stoke on Trent.
The man from Stoke who lives in Stoke told The Spoof:
"Why can't anybody else see this? It's so blatant. When the contestants are taking the walk of shame there are subliminal messages being flashed across the screen and we're all being brainwashed by them.
You think I'm mad don't you? Well what about this then? How come last week I found myself building a transceiver out of two cornflakes boxes and a coat hanger? When my wife found me she said I was in some kind of trance, most likely induced by The Weakest Link, and that I was desperate to communicate with some space-being called Vince"
A spokesman for the BBC commented:
"These are obviously the ramblings of a deranged nutter and quite frankly the idea is laughable. Anne Robinson would never stand for being manipulated in this manner and if you don't believe me then hard cheese"
