Weirdo News: Scone Polo added their name to the Cartier Queen’s Cup bypassing a scandal.
The team delivered a strong performance on The Queen’s Ground at Guards Polo Club in an unusual manner based on a new rule.
Laurence Feniou was allowed to ride his donkey for the match due to his phobia of horses.
In the second half of this final, playing their crowd-pleasing four-man polo, Scone won the match and the trophy 9-5 due to Mr. Feniou's donkey scaring the horses away from the ball with a terrifying cry.
The popular patron not only received the coveted cup from HM The Queen, but also a huge cheer from the crowd for his adorable donkey named Mayhew.
Their opponents, Andrey Borodin’s Park Place, gave no comment out of respect for the game.
