There was consternation and surprise in the House of Commons as Jacob Rees Mogg revealed that he would now be using emails, rather than carrier pigeons to get his work done.
'For years and years now,' says the strange MP, 'I have been using carrier pigeons, but recently it was suggested to me that I perhaps should update my working practices by using emails'.
As well as a laptop, Rees Mogg has recently indulged himself in a ZX Spectrum, an old version of Binatone Tennis, and is listening to the rock sounds of Jethro Tull.
'Only because of the historical associations. I hate flute music.'
