Embattled attorney Larry 'Flash' Pelaratti has completely vanished.
It's believed Pelaratti migrated to Algeria with over 120 million dollars he attained in bank loans using the names of corporate executives.
Pelaratti was charged by federal prosecutors in New York Wednesday with defrauding comedian Storky Cocker, the client who propelled Pelaratti into the national spotlight.
He faces up to 22 years in prison if convicted of those charges, plus an additional 130 years in other cases.
"If you do need to escape a country, a crucial factor in deciding where to go is whether or not the host country has an extradition treaty with the country you're leaving from," said Pelaratti during a press interview with Weirdo News before his disappearance.
An extradition treaty is the legal mechanism countries use to pull alleged criminals out of other countries.
