image for Man forgets why he did something
Oh no, not this anecdote again Lionel

In Trumpton under the thumb, local man and purchaser of clothing Lionel Richards forgot why he did something.

Posting on his Book of Face, the self important pro-curer of Stationary for a small council building said, 'I did this thing, and then I forgot what it was. Imagine the shock on Margaret's face when I told her this'.

We do not know who Margaret is. We assume that she must be one of the fourteen cats he owns, but why would he only tell Margaret this, and not his other cats. As all the cats know, Margaret is a terrible flirt and gossip. She is terrible in that she has not got the hang of doing either thing yet.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
