In a total break from tradition, HRH Prince William, is rush-releasing a new 'beat 'em up' video game across all formats, just in time for the Christmas rush.
'Blast Burrell the Butler Bastard' is a rollicking adventure in the 'Grand Theft Auto' mould and sees the Prince's arch-enemy being pursued by an avenging Prince and his brother who is also a Price too.
A spokesman for Sony told The Spoof:
"This game is not suitable for all ages and, as such, it will receive an 18 rating. This will ensure that even 6 year old kids will be able to get their mits on it and wallow in an orgy of gratuitous mindless violence"
When we asked him about one scene in particular, that sees the Prince removing the top of the Burrell's head with a rusty Stanley knife and then eating his brains with a silver spoon, the guy from Sony said:
"Well it's just a bit of fun really and Paul will see the funny side himself I'm sure"
The Queen released the following statement:
"Princes William and Harold are very keen gamers and to think that they have devised their own game fills me with pride. My favourite has always been that little blue hedgehog chap, Super Sonic. He's lovely" smiled her Majesty, as she got Sonic's name all wrong.
