Coronation Street viewers are up in arms after some music played on the show was probably a little bit insensitive. Of course to hear the actual music you would have to turn the volume up to 150 and glue your ear to the speakers.
Hundreds of people complained over a TV but continued to remain silent on issues actually affecting them. Like the NHS being piecemeal privatised, over a million people in the UK using food banks and the continued reign of tyranny being perpetrated by the Tory government.
People with nothing else to do made their presence felt on social media in an outpouring of indignity and disgust. It's a shame they didn't show the same when Nigel Farge went on national TV and told the country the whole "Out" part of the Brexit campaign was based on a complete lie.
We at Back and to the Left news would have hoped that these same people would have been up in arms about actual events. But it seems the sensitivities of fake characters in made up situations are far higher on the list of priorities.
