KAZAKHSTAN - Mike Oxbig, the first British astronaut to travel to the International Space Station (ISS), arrived at the orbiting laboratory with two others today. Cheers erupted all over the UK.

Mr. Oxbig was tapped by the European Space Agency (ESA), after an oil leak was discovered on the space station last month.

Mr. Oxbig was has had no formal technical training. He became proficient at repairing oil leaks while maintaining the Queen's stable of Jaguars, Aston Martins, and Bentleys. He is currently the Queen's Director of Lubrication Anomalies. He supervises a staff of 67.

He had previous experience working on his own MGBs, Triumphs, Minis, Land Rovers and Lotuses.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
