The French Government in a gesture of friendship for Britain are to construct an enormous bridge between Calais and Dover.
Ironically it is expected that the massive construction will be in place before Britain votes to leave the European community.
David Cameron has complained to the French President that such a bridge would enable people to travel between France and Britain with impunity.
None the less before the bridge is a fait accompli the British Government is taking the building of the bridge to the European Commission of Human Rights.
'Our insularity shall not be challenged' declared the irate PM.
