Ed Balls announced an end to poverty in the UK if Labour win the next election.
"The Tories are always droning on and on about Labour mismanaging the economy and being responsible for the recession; O.K. it's true but it's boring. They may have brought the country back from the brink of bankruptcy but there are still poor people and that simply isn't right!
"If we win the election we will ensure almost full employment and those on benefits will be paid well above the minimum wage. Everyone deserves to have a nice house, a nice car or five and at least three foreign holidays a year. The Labour party keeps it's promises; except those it breaks. Vote Labour; you know it makes sense and you know your memory doesn't exceed four years."
