London, United Kingdom. In news rapidly evolving over eons, the gamekeepers of Her Majesty's parks and reserves have voted to go on strike for 48 hours effective midnight Thursday to agitate for a 2% increase in pay which would bring them in line with employees of fast food outlets.
A spokesman for the Gamekeepers and Miscellaneous Miscreants union declared that it was "high time the toffs at Buckingham Palace started paying attention to the likes of us because the revolution was looking more and more viable." They insisted that the Queen acknowledge their log of claims which included diverse demands such as 27 weeks annual leave plus loading and reduced hours of work from 39 to 26.
The union insisted their demands were realistic and in line with the community's expectations. "We're a commendable lot and we're all about keeping it real" explained the union spokesman.
