The latest head of the BBC News operation has begun her new regime by attempting to stop the flow of leaks in the new building.
Fran Tick, acting director, pleaded with colleagues not to contribute to the wave which is threatening to engulf the organization in the wake of the Thames Water scandals.
Ms Tick attempted to prevent further leaks by e-mailing her staff and asking them not to wee or use unsuitable plugs when investigating leaks.
The Gents' toilets in the BBC building are being fitted with CCTV cameras to monitor the flow of leaks. The cameras in the Ladies' toilets have already been operating for 10 years, in order to boost TV ratings.
