Due to the unexpected success of the COBRA committee at preventing terrorist attacks at the Olympic games (the Olympic stadium is still standing as of this article going to print) a number of offshoot committees and think tanks have been set up with similar evil sounding names.

Back and to the Left news has been given the lowdown on a three of the biggest ones.

• S.P.E.C.T.O.R- Special Protective Environmental Choice Terrorist Organ Recycler. A group set up that deals with the terrorists environmental impact and carbon footprints. It currently runs several schemes in an attempt to reduce terrorisms carbon foot print including the "Bushes for Bombs" campaign. They are also the pioneers of the organ donor cards for suicide bombers scheme which was set up in Iraq in 2007.

• H.A.L- Hate and Learn. A scheme set up for racists, the homophobic among us and people who laugh at the mentally handicapped. This scheme puts people who hate other people into the safe environment where they can shout off their under informed opinions of other people. They are then shown resources (the internet) where they can gain a better understanding of the people who their abusing. The scheme has been run with minimal success in Luton.

• H.Y.D.R.A- Harrogate Yachting Diving and Rioting Association. A beautifully diverse group set up to support young andults who enjoy Yachting and Diving as well as rioting. Their spokesman said "Were trying to get Harrogate's rioters off the streets and onto the water."

Although all these schemes have demonstrated varying degrees of success (Three degrees to be exact) one must wonder with a anti terrorism team called C.O.B.R.A have we finally become the bad guys?

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
