Geordies and Scousers don't mix. And now, Scot manager Kenny Dalglish has admitted that Andy Carroll is a misfit "head-butting case" and can only be used for cracking nuts.
The 24 million spent on Carroll last season seems peanuts compared to Man City's acquisitions, but Carroll will certainly be the worst buy of them all, apart from Torres who the Scousers (well known con-men) fobbed off to Chelsea for 50 million.
Dalglish told a daily Liverpool Express reporter that Carroll is so slow he could have bought a Spanish donkey instead to head-butt it's way way through opposing defences.
Geordie Carroll has joined the list of Liverpool misfits alongside Cockney Sparrow, Joe Cole, who only feels at home below the Watford Gap on the bench of the once "Kings of Europe". Suarez has shown Carroll what modern day footballers require to be at the "top" and certainly not the head-butters of "kick and rush (not Ian)" football.
Well, another 24 million down the drain of the "beautiful game" joining the other multi billions that have been spent on extinct, misfits; when will it ever end?
Ask FC Barcelona if they would be interested in spending 24 million on head-butting Carroll and I'm sure the answer would be "nada" with a capital N!
Mr. Dalglish, sit up and learn!
