Barcelona's Lionel Messi has claimed in a Spanish newspaper that Wayne Rooney has "messed his pants" ahead of the Champion's League final showdown.
England's Number one (no pun intended) has hit back on Twitter:

The Argentinian ace has told reporters that his comments were 'lost in translation' but has told Rooney on Twitter:
"#midgetmessi...fuck off back to Tossa Del Mar you scouse retard"
The war of words has now escalated with the wound up Rooney telling his readers he will "do a Belgrano" on Messi.
Sir Alex Ferguson has dismissed the social networking site as a "waste of time" and has instructed his players to read a book instead.
