Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has promised his club's fans something special this weekend in their long-awaited cup tie with rivals Manchester United.
He said, "We will absolutely smash them. They will be picking up the pieces for months after this match. With our footballing skills we will quite literally destroy United."
When asked to explain about how beating another team in a football match would lead to its destruction, he explained further. "I don't think you understand. We will not just beat them, we will destroy them. We will physically destroy them with our football. That's what it's all about. 90 minutes of destruction, you should prepare for it. And some good football too."
"I predict we will beat them by so much that they won't dare to face us in another cup tie for at least a year."
