Wayne Rooney is being sued for damages for breaking an 83 year old pensioner's window who served in World War Two.

The event took place on Monday night when Wayne Rooney missed a penalty at Old Trafford when Manchester United played Arsenal and ended up putting the ball through Mr Harding's window.

"I couldn't believe it", he explained. "I was watching extreme fishing with Robson Green and the next thing I know I had a ball through my window.

"I know there is trouble on this estate but with me being an old age pensioner, I'm shocked how someone can still do a thing like this. I fought for this country to give hooligans like him the freedom to live in a democracy and it just makes me sick sometimes the way they abuse it.

"I just want this mess sorted and for that horrible beast to pay to fix my window."

Eye witness' have claimed that Wayne Rooney looked 'nervous' as he took the penalty and that the miss was so bad that one spectator fainted in shock.

One spectator said: "You remember when Beckham missed in Portugal? If you think that was bad, watch this. At the moment Rooney couldn't hit a barn door."

Rooney and his entourage have yet to comment but it seems this won't be the last we hear about this.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
