Arsene Wenger, Arsenballs 61 year old manager, is saying little about the lorry which fell on his train after he had discussed terms with a couple of young Woking players.
Suggestions that he is 'an arse' to talk to a non league side are being dealt with as a private matter. Arsenballs Chairman came out to support Arsene: 'Our Manager has our full confidence. If he wants to talk to Woking players who have been talent spotted that is his affair.'
Arsene was in a carriage on the train near Oxshott, Surrey when a cement mixer fell from a bridge onto the next carriage. Luckily for Arsene the driver had shot wide of the Manager who has been shaken by the episode.
'I never want to travel on a train again' he said.
Woking hopefuls, keen on a move to Arsenal, praised Arsene for his courage in dealing with the injured travellers. 'He knows a trapped nerve from a calf muscle strain' commented an impressed player.
