An impostor was in the Everton First Team squad, it has been revealed.
Mr. Affin Alaff, a talented African footballer impersonator, scored a sensational goal for the Toffees this weekend against Stoke.
The problem? Davey Moyes credited Mr. Alaff as Everton's very own Ayegbeni Yakubu.
The Yak was thought to be undergoing a major crisis at the time, but does seem on the path to recovery even now.
Mr. Alaff's goal on the other hand showed skill, flair and purpose.
"If people thought Yakubu had scored, maybe I'd get paid a lot more money!" Alaff offered.
David Moyes was speechless, but will cling desperately to the goal which took the Toffees to eighth. Mr. Alaff will escape the unpopular "GAMU" treatment and will be provided with a nice padded bed and free meals once a night.
