West Bromwich Albion, the team that everyone loves to laugh at, came away from the Emirates with all three points yesterday, after securing a flukey 3-2 win against Arsenal.
They now occupy a Champions League berth in fifth spot.
After Chris Brunt had a first-half penalty saved, goals from Peter Odemwingie (great name!), Gonzalo Jara (another great name!) and Jerome Thomas allowed the Baggies to race into a 3-0 lead, before Samir Nasri scored a late double for Arsene Wenger's men.
But, as most people know, scoring two goals when your opponents have scored three, is pretty pointless, and so it was here for Arsenal, who missed the chance to close the gap on leaders Chelsea.
It was the second miracle for West Brom in a week, after they beat Manchester City 1-0 in the Carling Cup on Wednesday.
Funny game football, isn't it?
Good on WBA!
