Following an embarrassing defeat in penalties to a lower League side, Liverpool FC have joined local rivals Everton FC in expressing the need to "shake up the squad".
In a sensational move by current owners Hicks and Gillett, Roy Hodgson has been granted £100 million to bring "success back to the club".
Hodgson has already made a list of some the players he'd like to get, which essentially compromises of Andrew Johnson, Bobby Zamora, Mark Schwarzer and Clint Dempsey (all of Fulham).
The Scousers however have made their own list. Being the typical humourous blighters that they are, the players included Ayegbeni Yakubu; Goofy; Barack Obama and Sir Elton John.
Not one to back down to player power, Hodgson is set to enter negotiations with many of the players on the fans' lists. However, he followed this up by stating.
"We are one step ahead of the fans as always. We've always had Goofy in the squad. You just know him as Fernando Torres!"
