"Yes, the Toyota drivers may dominate either the winner's circles or the hospital beds come this season", stated a member of Dale Earnhardt Jr's pit crew. "But we don't want Dale Jr. in one."
That's the big story at the start of the 2010 NASCAR season.
"Actually these started last year but there was only a couple of instances. Some have told us in practice their drivers have had to run across the infield to get slowed down and one guy on our team was hurt."
Dale Jr. reportedly heard a loud "Shit Fire!" as he pulled in for a pit stop on one run and the pedal stuck sending the crew back over the rails.
From the next crew down, Dale Jr. stated that he heard even more colorful language as the stuck pedal sent men and equipment flying.
"So I will definitely NOT be driving a Toyota this year. I don't want any of the crew hurt. I'd hate for them to wear adult diapers because three of those three losing control of their bowels in the seven pit crews, that had to scramble so I wouldn't run over them. I thought they were going to attack me later but I yelled "The ****** pedal stuck before they got to me."
