Mr Ed the talking horse has been speaking out after the announcement that all odds in future are going to be in decimal rather than traditional starting prices. For example 5-2 will now be 3.5.
When we spoke to Mr Ed at his stable in Newmarket he said " I really don't give a rats arse about decimal odds I dont care what odds are on me but what I do get pissed off about is about two furlongs from home during a race some little git is on my back whacking my arse off with a whip when I am doing the best I can we are not all Pegasus the flying horse"
Racing Commentator John McCririck agrees with Mr Ed that they should ban the whip but he does not seem bothered with the introduction of decimal prices in racing.
