A woman from Devon tells the story of Mr Horse the helpful horse from Derbyshire.
Mrs Mabel Able (45, widow) ran into problems when one of the wheels of her car fell off whilst driving through the Derbyshire moors.
"The car began to swerve and in my mirror I noticed the wheel bouncing over a hedge and into a quarry!" Says Mabel, "I knew I was in trouble because my spare wheel was stolen by monkeys earlier in the week."
With no spare wheel, Mrs Able was concerned. "I didn't know what to do. I saw a horse standing in the field next to me and out of desperation asked if he could help, surprisingly he said he could."
The horse had been in an accident some years before and was fitted with a prosthetic front left leg. He not only lent her his leg but actually fitted it to the car and took it for a test drive before declaring it safe but wobbly.
"He really saved me!" Says Mrs Able.
They met again several times; realised it was 'the real thing' and are planning to get married next year.
Mr Horse (18, three legs, horse) commented, "It's purely sexual."
