"I'll Miss Her!"

79-year-old, Connie Hines, who starred on the classic TV show Mr. Ed is gone.

"Mr. Ed" was about a talking horse, of course, with more than horse sense who only talked to his pal Wilbur Post played by Alan Young.

Hines was born in Needham, Mass. in 1930, apparently married at 17 and joined a stock company in Miami. After a divorce she joined the stock company in New York led by Helen Hays.

By 22 she had relocated to Hollywood and one of her first gigs landed her in the co-starring role in "Mr. Ed" from 1961 -1965.

The beautiful blonde was a show stopper in the early days of TV appearing on such shows Bronco, The Millionaire, M Squad, Johnny Ringo, The Untouchables, Shotgun Slade, Perry Mason, Sea Hunt, Bonanza , Fractured Flickers and The Mod Squad, according to her manager, Henry Ross.

And, Mr Ed?

"That was one filly who was sexy as all get out in the early days", stated the 70-year-old horse, who still talks of Alan Young with a tear in his eye. "They had to keep re-shooting scenes of Connie and me because of the huge boner that was hard to hide back in those early TV days."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
