The image from Adebayor's mind.

The "100m" run Emmanuel Adebayor made towards Arsenal fans yesterday, was claimed by the man himself to be an official attempt to break the 100m record, set by Usain Bolt of 9.58 "sex".

"Nah bro, I was just trying to win the 100m, trying to beat Usain's record - lets hope I did so."

When asked whether he deliberately stamped on Robin Van Persie, he replied,

"Nah bruvv, I was just trying to walk."

When asked whether he deliberately tried to score against his old club, he replied,

"Nah homes, I was just trying to see how the net would react after being hit by a ball that was headed by me after a cross from Shaun Wright Phillips, after he had been fouled but play was waved on by referee Mark Clattenberg."

In response to Adebayor's answers, Wenger said,

"That's bullshit."
