It was a great night for English football in the Nou Camp Stadium as London's finest, Chelsea, emerged victorious from their Champions League battle with Barcelona with a famous 0-0 win over the Catalan superstars.
The game had been billed as one that Guus Hiddink's men couldn't win, so far superior were the Spaniards expected to be, yet Chelsea surpassed everyone's expectations and fully deserved their win.
From the start, Barca came out with all guns blazing, and their forward line of Messi, Henry and Eto'o all looked dangerous, but the Blues also had their moments, and if Didier Drogba had managed to steer his effort past Valdes, the margin of victory could have been even more convincing.
Now it's all back to Stamford Bridge next Wednesday, with Chelsea only needing to win to go through to the final on May 27th, against either Melchester United or Arseholes, who play their first leg tomorrow.
After the game, manager Guus Hiddink said:
"Weer delided to haff wun hier."
