As England prepare to face Spain in Sevilla, Real madrid have come out fighting against accusations that they are a racist club.
The reason the game is being played in Seville and not in Madrid is because of monkey chanting against England's black players at the Bernebeu in 2004.
A club spokesman told me: "Look here pasty pink face with no hint of pigmentation. The fans who came that night were not Madridistas..it was an international game!! For the sake of the Klan they came from all parts!!"
The English FA refused to play tomorrows friendly in the capital as a result.
"We are such goody goody people, we are liberal, we are open we have no racism in England its those horrible wops, and spivs from across the water that are racist. We wanted to protect our golly........errr black players so we refused to play in Madrid."
Spain has faced many incidents of racism in recent years with black stars being regularly monkey chanted and racially abused in stadiums up and down the country. The Spanish FA has been slow to address the problem
A Spanish FA suit told me: "Look its not being racist telling Thierry Henry he's a black shit. I'd tell a white player he's a white shit..the fact that i only use that language in front of black people ..well its just coincidental that's all...by the way have you seen a white hood lying about the room...just have a meeting I'm a bit late for and really need to find it......."
Spain may be number one in the world and European champions but their heads in the sand approach to racism in football is ruining their reputation.
Still many Spaniards are looking ahead to the big game.
One group just outside the Bernebeu stadium told me: "We love to dress up for the internationals we have these Crusades outfits, dangle huge crosses and call ourselves Franco's all in white army!"
