Wayne Rooney, the overhyped, overrated England striker has controversially signed for Wales and will now play for the Welsh national team.
His transfer from England to Wales is unheard of in international football and comes at a time when his form for England is at a peak. Wales apparently made an offer the English FA couldn't refuse and quickly arranged for Mr Rooney's passport to be reissued. It is rumoured the transfer is partly due to a 'lack of money' at the FA.
Mr Rooney is said to be "right chuffed, boyo" at the transfer and has been taking lessons in Welshness, including classes in choir singing, coal mining, and fighting. He has also changed his name to Mr Jones.
