England football team vice captain, Rio Ferdinand, rather honestly told journalist that under the previous two regimes the team had a circus feel about it.
He was commenting on some of the off field aspects between games not when they were on pitch playing like clowns.
"In some training sessions we had to wear oversized shoes, baggy trousers and bright red noses whilst being pelted with custard pies." he explained.
On more than one occasion three lions were introduced into training sessions which did help to build speed however this led to several metatarsal injuries.
Rio continued "It is a little known fact that a lion will kill a human just to nibble on the metatarsal, it is a delicasy to them"
