Cheryl Cole, the X Factor judge, has said she is considering leaving the show as a protest against the booing and barracking her husband, footballer Ashley Cole, received at the hands of 'so called' England fans.
Mr Cole was jeered endlessly by 'supporters' after his wayward backpass presented Kazakhstan striker Zhambyl Kukeyev with an easy opportunity to score his side's goal in England's tense Group 6 World Cup 5-1 win yesterday.
Wife Cheryl watched in horror on a TV monitor in the X Factor studios just before last night's show was due to go live. The Girls Aloud 'singer', who replaced Sharon Osbourne when she left the show just before the fifth series began, had been 'mentoring' the Girls Category in Cannes, which, some say, is in France.
She said last night:
"Ahm disugussd'd. Ah feel lyke leeven' the show. All ahm here for is t' bring in leeren' men anyway!"
Head judge, Simon Cowell, told viewers:
"If Cheryl wants to leave the show because her 'overpaid, primadonna of a husband' can't take a bit of criticism, that's her helter-skelter.
She's only here to bring in the leering men anyway!"
Girls Aloud are rubbish.
