The Chicago Cubs are having their best season in 100 years. They look like they may be in the World Series in 2008. They are currently having the best record in the National League.
Fans in Chicago are already in pennant fever a Cub tickets are selling for record prices. Sells outs continue ever home game at Wrigley Field. They are earning record profits for the current owners.
It sure doesn't make any sense according to a major league scout that emailed me from the New York Mets. He said that: "Bud Selig(MLB Commisioner)and the Chicago Cubs are paying each MLB player and field manger $50,000 to lose to the Cubs during the season."
He continues that "They aren't paying the scouts or general managers and he is very angry. He wants his money too."
